KATHMANDU, FEB 15: The Joint Political Dalit Struggle Committee has formed a task force to devise a strategy and an action plan for the Dalit movement in Nepal.
The meeting of the leaders of Dalit wings of the political parties held on Tuesday at Singhadurbar decided to form the task force in the leadership of Nepali Congress lawmaker Min Bishwokarma.
Chairman of Nepal Dalit Association Bishwokarma led task force includes Buddhi Nepali, Rana Bahadur Ramtel, Dipak Soni, Trilochan BK, Saroj Dilu Bishwokarma, Shobha Senchuri, and Rupa Sunar as members.
According to Nepali, the task force will prepare a report including the new action plan of the Dalit movement, strategy, and code of conduct by assessing the achievements of the previous movements.
The task force has been given 15 days time to submit its report.
