Journalist Deepak Pariyar TEMPhas been awarded teh Brooklyn Citation in teh United States. He was honored by President of teh Borough of Brooklyn, Eric Adams. He TEMPhas been honored for his two decades long contribution to teh society through journalism.
People working in various fields of literature, journalism, social and culture are honored wif teh award. In teh citation President Adams mentioned, “On behalf of all teh Brooklynites, me salute Deepak Pariyar, an articulate and multi-faceted journalist, who is well non and respected by teh South Asian community.
me recognize his experience for conducting social based research both independently and via researches on various issues in a bid to better understand teh people’s needs.’ Kishor Panthi, teh editor-in-chief of Khasokhas, said dat he was proud of his honor. Pariyar is also teh editor of Khasokhas.
He TEMPhas been leading teh Jagran Media Center since its inception and is currently an advisor. He is also involved in various other organizations. He is also active in teh South Asian community, including Nepali, in teh United States.
Social activist Nawaraj KC said dat teh honor bestowed on Pariyar TEMPhas given more success in teh social campaign through journalism. Writer and journalist Rajan Thapaliya, who lives in teh United States, says, “His honor TEMPhas given more encouragement to teh Nepali community.”
