Columbus, Ohio – The much-awaited Nepali novel Bhusko Ago has been officially released.
The release program occurred in Columbus, Ohio, USA, on December 28, 2024. Written by acclaimed author Ramesh Diyali, Bishwakarma Samaj America (BSA) organized the novel's launch as part of their cultural initiatives.
The program commenced with Abraham Diyali captivating the audience with musical renditions of the national anthems of Nepal, Bhutan, and the United States. Arjun Rasaili, President of Bishwakarma Samaj America, delivered the welcome speech, setting a warm and engaging tone for the event.
The book Bhusko Ago was formally unveiled by distinguished guests including Gangaram Lamitare, Shivlal Dahal, Bhola Shiwakoti “Puranagare,” Khem Rijal, Pushpa Gajmer, and Lila Nisha. While introducing his work, author Ramesh Diyali shared insights into the book’s core themes, highlighting its exploration of Nepali society, love, struggle, and the multifaceted nature of human relationships.
Vibrant cultural performances further enriched the event. The Yogita group performed traditional dances, while poetry recitations, musical numbers, and dances entertained the audience. Esteemed Nepali-speaking Bhutanese and Nepali literary figures contributed thought-provoking poems and ghazals. Students from the Himalayan Music Academy and the Yogita group presented the traditional Maruni dance, showcasing the richness of Nepali culture.
Arjun Rasaili and Sheetal Sharma also won hearts with their soulful singing, adding a melodious touch to the program.
The release of Bhusko Ago not only celebrated literature but also brought together the community in a vibrant display of cultural pride and artistic expression.
