The Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) is all set to organize its American Regional Conference in the Canadian capital Toronto on May 27 and 28.
Organizing a virtual press meet, the NRNA officials informed about its decision to organize the conference.
Krishna Pokhrel, Convener of American Regional Conference 2023, said the main objective of this conference is to work for the economic and social development of Nepal and to build strong relations between Nepali.
The conference will discuss the basic issues such as green hydrogen production and consumption for solving Nepal’s energy crisis, investment opportunities and prospects, and transfer of knowledge, skills, and technology to Non-Resident Nepali in the economic and social development of Nepal.
In addition to this, there will be a meaningful discussion about the need for dual citizenship law for Non-Residential Nepalis and the reasonability of the Nepal government for its immediate implementation, upcoming strategy, and role of NRNs in building social justice and equitable society.
At the conference, according to the organizers, there will be involvement of professionals, social activists, and different experts besides media persons.
Pokhrel also informed that the Conference will be organized in coordination with Non-Residential Nepali Association’s International Coordinating Council, National Coordinating Council America, and the Global Non-Residential Nepali Association and National Coordinating Council, Canada.
