Kathmandu Dr. Purna Nepali has been recommended as Nepal’s resident ambassador to Sri Lanka. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting held on Thursday, where the government endorsed his nomination to represent Nepal, with special recognition as a representative of the Dalit community. Government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung confirmed the recommendation, stating, “Dr. Nepali has been proposed as the resident ambassador to Sri Lanka with representation from the Dalit community, emphasizing inclusivity in diplomatic appointments.”
