Tashi Tshiring won the title of the Pepsi Open Golf Tournament here at the Gokarna Golf Club today. In the event which was reduced to 11 holes due to rain, Tshiring finished first on countback after he was tied on 26 points with Sonam Norbu Lama. Tshiring earned 14 points on the last six holes, while Lama scored 12 and he received the runner-up trophy. Tshiring, who carded six birdies in the bogey-free round, bagged the most birdies award. Tshiring also finished at the top in the gross section but he was not eligible to take the trophy due to the one-player-one major prize rule. Wangchen Dhondup, who was second best with 24 points, received the gross category trophy.
