New York: US President Joe Biden has paid tribute to those killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks, saying “unity is a great power.” Speaking on behalf of the nation, President Biden called for a resurgence of the spirit of unity and cooperation that has been created since the attack.
Biden was a senator at the time of the infamous and tragic terrorist attack in the United States exactly 20 years ago today. Although President Biden was scheduled to pay tribute and respect at the three locations where the plane crashed, he cut short his speech and handed over the program to others.
In a recorded speech on Friday evening, the White House called on all to stand up for true national unity and bravery. He said that national unity and bravery were equally important in all expected and unexpected places after the infamous dismissal.
