Rights defenders to discuss Human Rights crisis in Manipur as side event at the 78th UN General Assembly
KATHMANDU: A group of Human Rights defenders including the International Commission for Dalit Rights (ICDR) is organizing a side-line event ‘Crisis in Manipur and Implications for Human Rights in India’ in conjunction with the 54th session of the Human Rights Council on September 19. The other co-sponsoring organizations of the side event without ECOSOC consultative status include Open Doors International, Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC), Hindus for Human Rights, North American Manipur Tribal Association (NAMTA), and Justice For All.
