One killed, three missing in Dolakha lanslide

Kathmandu: A landslide struck Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-8 in Dolakha District, resulting in the loss of one life and leaving three people missing in the early hours of Friday. The landslide swept away three houses.

According to Dawa Sherpa, chair of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, a three-year-old was killed in the incident, and three locals, identified as Dev Magar and Harilal Shrestha and Krishna Magar, are missing in the landslide. 

According to Sherpa, efforts to recover the body of the deceased and search for the missing are underway. 

The incessant rain has also displaced 15 families and swept away two houses in Salle of Khare, according to him.
